The perfect maternity dress is…not a maternity dress! That’s right, one of my favorite casual dresses has been a simple, stretchy, coral-colored dress from Old Navy.
I’m not going to link anything on this post because there are probably a million similar dresses sold by Old Navy right now, and the sneakers are already linked on another post.
This dress seriously highlights my curves and hugs me in all the right places! It even hides my growing love handles (I’m constantly trying to find outfits that don’t draw attention to them). Also, I’m not wearing shapewear under this – it’s that great!
The reason why I love this dress is because it’s so versatile. I can dress it up with heels and a jacket or dress it down with wedge sneakers and a long cardigan (as seen in this post, where I was 26 weeks pregnant – I’m currently 35 weeks). Obviously you can also wear it pre and post pregnancy as well, which is awesome. I’m all for outfits that are deceivingly stylish (a phrase which here means: it looks fashionable but is so comfortable that you can wear it all day with zero complaints). Beauty and pain aren’t necessarily synonymous, ladies!
